Tragedy had stuck my family. In 2005, my wife and I had another daughter. We named her Rebecca Marie. As soon Rebecca was born, there was an unseen problem with her heart. Rebecca was immediately flown by helicopter to Children's hospital in Milwaukee Wisconsin. At the time, the hospital was 3rd in the nation in infant heart problems. Rebecca underwent a 12 1/2-hour surgery as a 1-week-old. Over the next 90 days , she incurred several other procedures. Her heart finally gave out on August 25th. At 10 pm to add to our situation, my father passed away 12 hours earlier at 10 am on the same day. If not for life insurance, our family would have been financially devastated.
It was at that time that I decided to switch careers and become an insurance / investment broker. I would say I have always had a servant’s heart and have always put my client’s needs first.
